SALES & MARKETING ASSOCIATE - SCHOOLFINDER GROUP

Perfect for recent college or university graduates.

The SchoolFinder Group | EDge Interactive is looking for a Sales & Marketing associate to sell advertising and student recruitment services to educational institutions and corporations. Based in Toronto, the SchoolFinder Group includes some of Canada's leading education websites including SchoolFinder.com, StudyinCanada.com, GradSchoolFinder.com and ScholarshipsCanada.com. The sites are designed to help students find the right school and for schools to find the right students.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will help colleges and universities with their marketing and student recruitment programs. The position involves supporting the sales team and some pre-sales activities for selling integrated solutions including banner ads, targeted email marketing, lead generation, social media and mobile services. We work with clients in Canada, the US, UK, Australia, Ireland and Grenada. The job includes the following responsibilities and learning opportunities:

• Helping to manage the sales funnel and sales forecasting
• Supporting tasks and processes to achieve sales targets
• Identifying new product and market opportunities
• Managing client accounts and tasks using a Web-based CRM database
• Making joint sales presentations, online and in person, often with senior management
• Assisting in the development of marketing collateral
• Writing sales proposals
• Attending educational conferences and trade fairs
• Participating in business development

DESIRED BACKGROUND

• Sales experience
• Business knowledge of online marketing solutions and related technologies, especially social media
• Experience within the higher education market (an asset)
• Ability to speak French (an asset)

MUST HAVE

• University degree or college diploma
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior decision-makers at colleges, universities and corporations
• Ability to work efficiently within a team, take initiative and adapt to a dynamic work environment
• Creative minds with realistic visions and a 'glass half-full' personality
• No aversion to travel
