The University of British Columbia Chooses EDge's ezRecruit™ CRM

TORONTO, ON - January 26, 2007 - EDge Interactive, a leading provider of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions for the higher education community, announced today that the University of British Columbia (UBC) has selected EDge's ezRecruit™ Web-based prospect management software to aid in the University's student recruitment efforts. ezRecruit™ will make it possible to create and deploy effective targeted recruiting campaigns and enhance communication between UBC staff and prospective students as well as applicants and high school counsellors.

Built on proven best practices, EDge's ezRecruit™ will help UBC streamline the student recruitment and communication process by addressing various enrolment management challenges. ezRecruit™'s robust communication tools will allow UBC to personalize day-to-day interactions with prospective students and applicants from around the world, and also manage relationships with counsellors. Some additional key features of ezRecruit™ include campus tour and event management tools designed to organize special events such as UBC Welcome Sessions for newly admitted students, and use of the SchoolFinder.com institutional database with contacts for high schools and other institutions across Canada.

UBC is currently running an in-house Oracle-based student information system (SIS). Communication between UBC's SIS and ezRecruit™ is an important component of EDge's solution.

Developed for Unix, Linux or Microsoft environments, ezRecruit™ features an intuitive student interface and administrative tools, including extensive reporting capabilities, event management and communication tools, e-mail, letter and call management, and workflow automation. ezRecruit™ also allows for a high level of configuration and scalability to accommodate future growth.

UBC plans to launch ezRecruit™ in the spring of 2007.
